Our Company History
In 2008, Matt Parks, then employed as Senior Designer for web, print and other media at a printing and marketing firm in Nashville Tennessee, began to notice a trend. Larger companies were beginning to focus a lot of their advertising dollars on online marketing, but smaller companies, for whatever reason, were reluctant to do so. Based on this observation, Matt began to lay out the groundwork for Market Street Media. With over 10 years of experience in web design and SEO, an established portfolio of clients, and a good size savings, Matt was able to take the leap to start his dream.
2009 was a phenomenal first year. Market Street Media was able to triple its profits within the first six months of operation. The rapid growth was due in large part to good old-fashioned customer satisfaction; word of mouth advertising and client referrals comprised (and still comprise) the majority of new business. As new clients poured in, it became apparent that Market Street was proving to be an excellent resource for a nich industry, water damage restoration. Market Street Media helped clients use their websites to generate leads using the power of search engines such as Google, Yahoo and (at the time) MSN. Leads flooded the water damage companies (no pun intended) and Market Street Media.
2010 and the Future:
In 2010, Matt quickly realized that the majority of Market Sttreet Media's client base were water damage companies and began to specialize in content creation specifically for that industry. After immersing himself in industry literature including numerous IICRC s500 protocol editions (Speciality Remediation Handbooks), Matt acquired a working knowledge of proper remediation and restoration techniques, allowing in-depth content creation abilities. This dedication to his clients, and keeping up with current industry information, earned Matt his reputation in the field of water damage.
